Guiding Record!!

I was delighted to welcome back Jules and his friend Bal from France again.  We spent 5 days fishing a few differnt locations around Boyle, Co.Roscommon.  The weather conditioins were not in our favour with strong winds every day.  Fairplay to the lads, they never gave up and stayed casting and it payed off for them in the end.  The lads had loads of pike over the 5 days but not many big ones, that was untill the last day.

Jules got his new PB with a pike weighing 29lbs 5oz and measuring 117cm.  This was also a new guiding record for me and the biggest fish in the new boat.  Days like this make me love guiding more.  I look forward to see Jules again year and hopefully we will beat the PB again.
